Haters really are gonna hate. Hate so much they want to sue you for $42 million.

R&B artist Jesse Graham filed a lawsuit against Taylor Swift for similarities between Swift's 2014 'Shake it Off' and his song 'Haters Gonna Hate.'

Both songs contain the phrase, "Haters gonna hate, players gonna play."

"Her hook is the same hook as mine," he told Daily News, claiming Swift uses it about 72 times in her song. "If I didn't write the song 'Haters Gone Hate,' there wouldn't be a song called 'Shake It Off.'"

He originally only wanted a selfie with Swift, but her camp denied that request.

Here are the songs. Too similar?

Our verdict?

Just shake it off, Taylor.

Taylor Swift took a break from her #squad to hang out with one very deserving fan.

Twelve-year-old Stella Usiak, a cancer patient, finally got to fulfill her dream of hanging out with her favorite pop star.

Usiak was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2011 and went into remission. But her cancer returned in 2014. Her dream has been to record a song with Taylor, so she set up a Facebook page to generate attention.

Stella gushed about her brief meeting with the star on her Facebook page:

Even though I only talked to her for a minute Taylor told me I was very brave . I gave Taylor my email and phone number and when I mentioned it would be awesome to hang out with you someday she said sounds like fun it might be In your cards! I told her my entire story just before I had to go. That was one of the best hugs I ever got! Me and my mom were crying tears or joy I will remember that night forever the night I celebrated shaking off the bad blood twice and one of my wildest dreams coming true!

She even got to meet Taylor's cat Meredith, well, a cardboard version of Meredith.

Good luck, Stella! Here's to hoping that you get to record that song one day with T-Swizzle.

Don't Do That of The Day: The Weeknd Says Taylor Swift Couldn't Stop Stroking His Hair

Taylor Swift just can't keep her hands to herself.

Singer Abel Tesfaye, better known as the Weeknd, says that when he first met Swift she kept "petting" his hair.

He described the bizarre encounter with Taylor Swift in Rolling Stone:

"But the whole time she was talking," he says, "she was kind of, like, petting my hair? I think she was just drawn to it — she must have been a little gone off a few drinks. And of course I'm not going to be like, 'Hey, can you stop?' I mean, it felt good! But when she started petting my hair, that's when I was like, 'I definitely need a drink.'"

For those clueless individuals out there, touching a black person's hair is normally a cultural no-no. And it really doesn't help Swift's image when she also makes music videos like this.

Word of advice, Taylor. Next time—just don't.

Presidential candidate Martin O'Malley and singer Taylor Swift are alike in a lot of ways.

They are both in the public eye, they both play the guitar and they both have a deep hatred for a frenemy.

For Taylor, this is Katy Perry, and for O'Malley this is frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

So it was no surprise that he would choose Swift's hate ballad 'Bad Blood' to dedicate to his opponent.

O'Malley is polling at around 1 percent, so this probably won't move the needle too much.

But Hillary is definitely still out of the squad.

DJ Calvin Harris will have to Shake It Off.

Taylor Swift's boo was reportedly spotted coming out of a Thai massage parlor on Sunset Boulevard, ending the couple's Love Story.

Did he visit the shady massage parlor for a hand job? We'll probably never know. But the couple certainly now has Bad Blood.

After photos leaked of his rendezvous, he tried to make up with Taylor—to which one can only assume she told him "We Are Never Getting Back Together."

This Love is done.

Taylor Swift has dragged out many, many, many special guests during her 1989 World Tour, but few, if any have inspired this much 1990s nostalgia.

Introducing her as Phoebe Buffey, Taylor Swift brought Lisa Kudrow up in front of the screaming stadium for a quiet and intimate rendition of Kudrow's song Smelly Cat from this little show you might have heard of called Friends.

Heres a wider, much stabler video:

If you're unfamiliar with Smelly Cat because maybe you were born in the 90s and too young to bask in the ultra-caucasian glow of Friends, you can watch the original here:

And we will now open bets as to who will join Swift on stage yet. Norm from Cheers? Garfield the cat? George W. Bush's twin daughters? The Count from Sesame Street? That crazy astronaut who wore a diaper to confront the rival for her love?

Who knows!

How do you measure success? It could be a vibrant career with millions of fans and an enormous amount of money. Or it could be someone tracking your life with thousands of dominos.

Whether Taylor Swift chooses to measure her personal success in the first or the second way, YouTuber petmagnetetal gives her the dominos tribute they think she deserves.

By this point in the Internet's life, we've all seen our fair share of domino videos. This one works so well because of the theming and the on point references.

For instance, this is the final frame:

And it's a reference to this Taylor Tumblr fandom picture.

So, good job, domino stacker. Way to tribute Tay Tay.
