You're Only As Old As You Paraglide of the Day: Mary Hardison, a 101-year-old great-great grandmother from Ogden, has set a new world record for Oldest Female to Paraglide Tandem.
The record had been held since 2007 by a 100-year-old women from Cyprus.

Hardison's desire to paraglide arose after her 75-year-old son took up the sport as a hobby. "I didn't want him to get too far ahead of me, so I decided that I'd go too," she told the AP. "To me, I was just going on a little ride. I had no idea I'd break a record."
Asked if she plans to paraglide again, Hardison, who loves physical activity and quilting for charities, said, "If the notion strikes, I'll go again."
