Wikipedia was nearly banned in Russia yesterday, after government officials found an article on pot smoking that violated their blacklist law. The law, which went into effect in October 2012, allows the government to block websites that offer information on how to commit suicide or do drugs, among other topics that could be potentially harmful to minors.
