OMG. Is it the end of the world? Is everyone we love and care about soon to be incinerated by a massive radioactive blast from the sun? Will my iPhone still work?

This image, take by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, is actually a mid-level M-class flare, and one of several that have occurred in the same spot over the past few days. They are harmless and can't pass through the atmosphere, according to NASA, but stronger flares have been known to affect GPS and communications on Earth.

There was a streak of more intense X-class flares during the last week of October, which the Space Weather Prediction Center is calling "one for the history books."

This is why the dog takeover will never happen. They don't even understand the mechanics that people can only go down a slide, not up. Still, with a face like that, the human race will probably just surrender to a canine regime based on cuteness alone.

Nothing can celebrate the person who birthed you into this world by donning some appropriately embarrassing outfit and taking her out to Olive Garden. However, for this pup, he might be better trying to sail on through the day without notice.

Chris Brown just can't catch a break. Despite somehow still having legions of fans and tons of money, he never quite escapes that one thing he's known for (and with good reason). So it's no real surprise that people with common sense are still highly critical of him. Now, Brown is catching heat for a dog breeding/puppy selling site that he started as his side job.

PETA, as well as a host of other animal-friendly organizations, are taking shots at Brown for breeding pit bulls and selling them at a premium price, when there are pit bulls that are in need of being adopted. Says SpcaLA president Madeline Bernstein:

There is no reason to breed and produce more pit bull puppies when there are pit puppies waiting for homes in every shelter in America.

For his part, Brown's reps have said that the puppies are not being bred and that they are the offspring of his family's dogs, and the site is now empty. Still, the internet needs a record of Brown's bad decisions, if only to create a large archive of stupidity for everyone to read.
