Mike Nichols, famed director/writer/producer and one of a select few people to have achieved the coveted EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) died on Wednesday.

He worked on a number of memorable projects including "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", "The Graduate," "The Birdcage," "Charlie Wilson's War," Monty Python's "Spamalot" and "Angels in America."

Here's his acceptance speech after winning the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010, presented by Meryl Streep, which he ended with this memorable quote:

"Goodnight moon, goodnight stars. I'll see you on the set and the beach and in the kitchen. And at the movies."
