"Dogs Of Google Street View" On Tumblr Will Take You On a Worldwide Adventure

Doggo lovers never get tired of watching dogs being smart, silly, and playful all at once but do you ever want to see doggos just being natural doggos in a natural, random environment? That is what you find on the Tumblr page Dogs of Google Street View. It has a massive collection of unknowing dogs, and owners too, caught by Google's street cameras. These might not be photo-standard, but the best thing is you get to see dogs from all over the world. Via: Rearfront

A Thai triathlete named Panupong Luangsa-ard wore a special backpack to take 360 images of everywhere he went as he walked around Thailand. He went to some amazing places that as self-driving car just couldn't go.

As a result of his trek, Google has added at least 150 new highlighted locations to browse in Thailand on Google Maps.

If you could have full access to one of the most ecologically diverse places in the world for a day, where would you start exploring? If you paid any attention in biology class, your best bet is probably the Galapagos Islands, correct? Well, you can now take a virtual tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the shoes of Charles Darwin straight from your desk, thanks to Google Maps' latest addition to its expansive Street View database. To celebrate this update, Google has launched the website Darwin for a Day where people can collaborate to investigate and document the islands' vast range of native plant and animal life, the findings from which will be passed on to iNaturalist and the Charles Darwin Foundation for further research.
