Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels divorce is getting pretty nasty: New court papers reveal that Michaels is petitioning to have her monthly child support raised because she can't live on the measly $23,000 she's getting from Etheridge.
She says the singer makes about $177,882 per month, and she needs a bigger chunk of that money because she has "virtually no savings."
Michaels also claims that her ex has taught their kids to distant and rude to her, and that Etheridge swears around the children.
Etheridge has fired back in court documents by accusing Michaels of accidentally burning one of their children with a cigarette. The singer wants a smoke-free environment for their kids, and she wants to figure out a detailed custody schedule for the coming summer.
The couple are set to appear in court again on May 22nd to hash out their latest issues.
