This morning on Fox & Friends, Kirk Cameron sat down to talk about his new film Monumental, but ended up commenting further on the inflammatory remarks he made earlier this month on Piers Morgan Tonight.
"I don't change my feeling about the comments," said the actor, who previously called homosexuality "unnatural" and gay marriage "detrimental and destructive."
Cameron pointed the finger at Morgan and bashed the host for the "disingenuous" way the interview was conducted, and accused him of reducing "an important and personal and sensitive issue to a 4-second soundbite."
The Growing Pains star opens up about his problems with the interview at 4:50 in the above video.
The Piers Morgan Tonight host quickly responded on Twitter and repeated the actor's original comments, while pointing out that he had defended them yet again on Fox & Friends.
"Mr Cameron 'stands by the comments', despite his whining," wrote Morgan. "So I'll let others decide if he was stitched up...or just a bigot."
