Over the weekend, Simon Cowell suffered quite a scare when he discovered a woman had broken into his home with the help of a brick.

Saturday night, Cowell was about to watch himself on television (of course) in his west London mansion when he heard a loud noise. The X Factor star rushed upstairs to investigate and found Leanne Zaloumis standing in his bathroom with a brick.

The woman, thought to be an over-zealous fan, had come in through a window. She was detained by Cowell's security team until police arrived.

The 29-year-old was charged with aggravated burglary and is set to appear in court today.

"It was very frightening for Simon, who told me it was like something from a horror movie," said Cowell's rep, Max Clifford.

Singer-songwriter Tulisa Contostavlos, a judge on the British version of The X Factor, has released the above YouTube clip in order to comment on her sex tape, which was allegedly leaked online by an ex-boyfriend.

The former N-Dubz member identified the man in the explicit footage as her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards, AKA MC Ultra, with whom she was in a relationship with for many years.

In the above clip, the 23-year-old says that she is "devastated and heartbroken," and blames Edwards for the release.

"When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love and care about and trust," said Contostavlos, "you never imagine that footage will be shared with the world."

Edwards has denied releasing the tape, and tweeted: "I believe in silence being a sign of Integrity but in this case I guess I'll have to speak up and Lay out the facts and let you guys decide."

British boy band One Direction is making music history with their debut albumUp All Night, which has debuted at number one on the American charts.

This means the manufactured tween sensation beat out bands like the Beatles and Pink Floyd to be the first British group to have their debut album start out in the number one position.

If you're not familiar with the latest British invasion, One Direction is a boy band that came together on the UK version of The X Factor. Members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson just ended a 10-week tour of America that even included a stop on The Today Show.

Up All Night has already sold 176,000 copies, which is enough to unseat Adele, the reigning queen of British music in America.
