News lost in the Tim Hortons Burger King merger is this bizarre new doughnut. Covered with actual Buffalo sauce, two decorative tortilla strips, and crushed up chips, Tim Hortons' new Buffalo Crunch Dount tastes a little bit like a chicken wing.
The Stupendous Splendiferous Butterup is designed to spread butter (especially cold butter) more evenly on your bread. You can kickstart the project at the link below, but considering their goals have already been exceeded nearly ten-fold, you're probably going to see this puppy on store shelves soon.

A little back story on this video: I got this as a text from my 71 year old mother today with no context or description and out of nowhere. After watching it, I was certainly stunned at the sheer amount of corn. After a second viewing, I called my 72 year old dad and spoke with him at length on the subject of corn. He has been eating corn for over seven decades and was motivated to share a kernel of his knowledge.
Essentially, he wanted people to understand the difference between how much corn is on the plate that you'd never eat if it was served that way, but when it's on the ear, you might just eat two or three ears all hot and buttered!

A Chinese diner was shocked to find a cockroach in his salad but was even more blown away when the waitress he complained to said it was "very normal" and devoured the bug to prove it was safe.
Businessman Zhang Yen made the stomach-turning discovery at the Jinsha Era Plaza hotel restaurant in the western Chinese city of Chengdu, Metro reports.
When the diner told his 39-year-old waitress about the extremely fresh but unwanted side dish she reportedly failed to see what the big deal was.
The waitress reportedly told him that bugs turned up in salads all the time.
"No matter which restaurant you go to, you will always find cockroaches in the food," she is quoted as saying.
"It is very normal."
The stand-off came to a surreal conclusion when the no-nonsense food server then picked up the insect and popped it in her mouth to prove eating bugs won't kill you.
Mr Zhang then paid his bill and left the eatery in disbelief.
