Fifteen years ago, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon won a slew of awards and became the highest grossing foreign-language film in America. With a cast of all Chinese actors and performed in Mandarin, it was a surprise success and a very influential international film. You most likely remember it as the modern kung-fu movie with people flying everywhere while they fight.

Now it's back because it's 2015 and we've run out of ideas. Just like the original, the sequel will be breaking boundaries. It will be the first movie ever to premiere on Netflix and IMAX simultaneously.

The Man With The Iron Fists is an over-the-top kung fu flick starring Lucy Liu. What more needs to be said?

Fine -- here's the plot, as if it matters: In feudal China, a blacksmith who makes weapons for a small village is put in the position where he must defend himself and his fellow villagers.

Produced by Quentin Tarantino, RZA's directorial debut also stars Russell Crowe. Out October 26.

This guy was on the receiving end of a taser and an all-around police beatdown and obviously lost. When the case went to trial, the Portland city attorney, representing the arresting officer, tried using the reasoning that the suspect owned a kung-fu movie collection, so the brutality was justified. The jury wasn't convinced and now the city is paying out $250,000, which should buy some decent self-defense lessons in addition to new kung-fu DVDs.
