Thanks, Internet. Thanks for that.
Just in time for a new episode of "Serial," the true crime podcast that's taken the world by storm, comes this mashup of the show's theme song with Miley Cyrus' hit single that launched a thousand memes.
Looks like Miley found someplace to put that crazy, dangling tongue of hers.
Here she is taking a makeout selfie with Arnold Schwarzenegger's son at a University of Southern California football Thursday night in LA.
When Jimmy Fallon announced that the pop star had won the Video of the Year award for her hit song, "Wrecking Ball," Cyrus passed up the chance to thank her producers and managers for helping her achieve her goals. Instead, she sent up a former homeless teen to deliver a short speech intended to raise awareness about the issue of homeless youth.
'I have survived in shelters all over this city,' Jesse, Cyrus' proxy, said, describing his experience as one of the 1.6 million homeless young people in the United States. 'I've cleaned your hotel rooms, I've been an extra in your movies. I've been an extra in your life. Though may have been invisible to you on the streets I have a lot of the same dreams that brought many of you here tonight.'
Dan Lee, of Channel 8 News, was doing a live tv broadcast about a potential traffic jam related to Miley Cyrus visiting town when a man got into the studio and on camera demanded the newscaster broadcast 'real news', such as information about the Military Industrial Complex.
Presumably this weeping kitty monstrosity is in reference to her American Music Awards performance in November (a performance that some have gone so far as to say was a commentary on her own internet infamy.) All we know is that this would probably qualify as an Ugliest Tattoo regardless of the celebrity subject, but boy does that help!
