With Miley Cyrus hosting the VMAs yesterday, there was no question that this would be one crazy show. But the most shocking moment last night came from Yeezus himself.

After accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and in classic mic drop fashion, Kanye West informed the world that he plans to run for President in 2020.

"It's about ideas, bro. New ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth," he said. "And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president."

Obviously the Internet freaked out.

Could it be? Kanye/Swift 2020?

We'd also have to deal with this...so maybe not.

YouTube's comedy sketch duo Brian Firenzi and Maria Del Carmen provide a clever (and sadly, reasonable) answer to why there are little to no music videos playing on MTV these days.

MTV asked Snuggie Kid for a preview of tonight's VMAs, and he was more than happy to deliver.

If the show producers have any sense at all, they'll put him onstage.

If you remember MTV during its late 90s/early 00s heyday of awesome shows like Clone High and Undressed, then you might remember their stab at lampooning the boy band craze with their sitcom, 2gether. The remaining living members of the show are reuniting for a Q&A and performance at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, which begs the question, Jon Lovitz has a comedy club?
