Indiana Republican Senate candidate Richard Mourdock said Tuesday when a woman is impregnated during a rape, "it's something God intended." Mourdock was asked during the final minutes of a debate whether abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest. He replied: "I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that's something God intended to happen."

Now this:

Despite a statement from the Romney camp refuting Mourdock's words -- "Gov. Romney disagrees with Richard Mourdock's comments, and they do not reflect his views" -- Romney cut an ad for Mourdock that began airing in Indiana on Tuesday.

First of all, from what I understand from doctors (pregnancy from rape) is really rare. If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.
