Paul Ryan's senior poll from a yearbook at Joseph A. Craig High School in Janesville, Wisconsin shows a brown-nosing prom king who wasn't even considered the "Ryan" with the most potential -- Most Likely To Succeed went to Adam Ryan. It's okay Paul, this guy once struck out on Most Likely To Succeed and Most Athletic. Sure, it was 8th grade, but it counts.

Mitt Romney, fresh off his visit with spaceship farmers, took time Saturday morning to announce Paul Ryan as his running mate and potential Vice President. Ryan, the 42-year-old U.S. Rep. from Wisconsin, is the young, fresh face of the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, and is the Chairman of the House Budget Committee.

Tapping Ryan as vice president is considered a risky, outside-the-box move for Romney, whose lagging campaign couldn't afford a "safe" sidekick -- although anything looks more natural than this. Rumors had recently swirled over Ohio Sen. Rob Portman or former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty as likely running mates.

Ryan's introduction didn't go off without a hitch as Romney pulled a GWB, presenting the congressman as the next "President of the United States." He quickly reassured the crowd with a correction, before Ryan addressed the thousands assembled at the USS Wisconsin in Norfolk, Virginia.
