Ghostbusters

This seems to be in no way official but a prototype of the nostalgic juice flavor has popped up for sale on Ebay.

According to the description, it's just an empty sample can for a new line of Ecto Cooler drinks in support of the new 'Ghostbusters' movie. The seller got many questions (and apparently some abusive emails) as to how he or she came to be in possession of this rare item. They provided this statement in the product description:

For the threatening emailer (who needs to learn how to spell) and any others interested, this was sent to a friend who used to work for a marketing company.  My friend hasn't worked there in a long time and received this via UPS or FedEx the other day.  It was in a plain box with a box containing these inside.  No paperwork.  It's not stolen, nor is it marked "Sample" or "Not For Resale" that's why eBay has allowed this item for sale (and yes, I called them to verify at 14:04 EST 2/18/2016).

So this is... not the trailer? Just a teaser to announce that the trailer will arrive on March 3rd of this year. This teaser suggests a grittier, spookier version than the originals. Then again, it is a comedy so hopefully it won't be taking itself too seriously.

In Ghostbusters II a psychic named Elaine warned that the end of the world will be on February 14th, 2016.  She assures us that the facts are accurate. After all they were obtained from a reputable alien source in a room at the Holiday Inn. 

Of course we realize it's just a movie, but what if her prediction is true! It wouldn't be the first time that a movie foretold the future. We have hoverboards now, don't we?

It's the battle of the busters!

The latest edition of the YouTube series "Epic Rap Battles of History" positions Ray, Peter, Egon and Winston against Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman with surprises guests the B-Team and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Successful comedy writer and director Harold Ramis passed away early this morning in Chicago, due to complications stemming from autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that causes swelling of the blood vessels. He was 69 Years old.

Ramis had a successful career behind and in front of the camera. He's known well for his "straight man" comedy roles in Stripes and the Ghostbuster series. Ramis has also written and directed many successful films such as Groundhog Day and Caddyshack, respectively.

He is survived by his wife Erica, his sons Julian and Daniel, his daughter Violet, and two grandchildren.

LEGO artist Orion Pax spent two months studying the two Ghostbuster films and its animated TV series adaptation as part of his ambitious project to construct the most accurate LEGO brick model of the team's firehouse headquarters.
