Journalists have arrived and are starting to cover the Sochi 2014 winter Olympics. After early reports doubting the city's preparedness for the big game(s) and human rights protests across Russia, press at Sochi are naturally a bit concerned. As these tweets gathered by the Washington Post show, they had every right.

The US recently revealed their uniforms for the 2014 Winter Olympics, and there are quite a number of mixed reactions. The cardigans designed by Ralph Lauren intended for the opening ceremonies may be sweaters, but not everybody is so hot on how they look.

Though it's easy to criticize, there are those who have warm feelings to express about this year's duds. Julia Chu is a member of the hockey team and has this to say: "What I really enjoy when [I] look at it is I can see the patriotic spirit. When everyone's wearing it together, it makes a bold statement."

As of Sunday, it was announced that the Jamaican bobsled team has qualified for the 2014 olympics and Cool Runnings fans could not be happier.
The forces of the internet are coming together to raise money in Dogecoin form to support the team. According to the original Dogecoin enthusiast Reddit post, the Dogecoins raised have been converted to into Bitcoins which are then exchanged for dollars and then sent to the Jamaican team.
