A drifting man struggles to pull objects from the roiling sea below him and scrambles to keep the objects from slipping through his fingers.

Undone is terrifyingly beautiful, and rightfully won Best Animated Short at the 2009 Slamdance competition.

Animator Martin Woutisseth celebrates the cinematic oeuvre of Tim Burton with a stylish, animated walk through the director's impressive filmography, from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure to Alice in Wonderland. (Dark Shadows was cut for time, as the video was created for a five-minute animation contest.)

The project took three months, and Woutisseth said the biggest challenge was "to stay sober during the animation."
