Is your man distant, inattentive, and seeming preoccupied? The obvious assumption would be that he is thinking about other women. This meme challenges that theory - and reveals the complex thoughts that are actually swimming around his head.
Boston Celtics Guard, Kyrie Irving just needs the people of the round earth to know that he's terribly sorry for being caught up with the Flat Earth movement because he's a "smartass individual"; BUT he's never quoted saying that he's not a flat-earther. Dude, come on.
Drake brought his trolling moves out in full force for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, when the Toronto Raptors squared off against the Golden State Warriors. Drake already has a notorious reputation for being a sideline sh*t starter when it comes to messing with the NBA players. In this case, he's gone to a new extreme, and is offering up an alleged piece of Steph Curry's hair lint to the highest bidder on eBay.
Toronto, the capital of Ontario, is the most statistically multicultural city in the world. While there are probably millions of heartwarming success stories, the tale of Nav Bhatia, who immigrated to the city from India in the 80's, is especially touching. After almost 25 years of never missing a game, he's been given the official title of Toronto Raptors Superfan and community ambassador. His presence at their basketball games, and court-side seats, have been well-documented, but until now, his amazing story has been pretty much under wraps. That changed when correspondent Mohammad Lila shared Bhatia's saga in a touching Twitter thread that we're going to be remembering for years to come.
We've made it to the home stretch, people. One more day and us Monday through Friday office drones are free for an extremely temporary couple of days. Will we actually make use of that free time and do something productive or meaningful? Absolutely not! These memeswill help you prep for a weekend of doing the bare minimum. You're welcome.
For Harlem Globetrotter Buckets Blakes, everyday is World Trick Shot Day. But for the rest of us, only December 6 is.
So in honor of America’s favorite holiday, World Trick Shot Day, Buckets went to the Tower of the America in San Antonio, Texas to show us the true meaning of the holiday. It’s the highest shot ever in North America, and as he says, he goes to the top of the tower to “knock it down.”
Buckets takes an elevator to the top of the 58-story building and has to be strapped in via harness to keep from falling. Without much thought, he simply says, “World Trick Shot Day, baby. Let’s get buckets” and swish.
It’s amazing, disorienting, and sure to raise the World Trick Shot Day spirit in all of us.
In honor of World Trick Shot Day, here are some trick shot gifs to waste time with.
Sometimes you think you’ve got life in palm of your hand. Sometimes you think you’ve got it all figured out. Sometimes you just want to run out the clock because whatever it is, it’s in the bag.
Other times, you’re just wrong.
That’s what happened to this poor basketball player who thought his team was winning, so he ran out the clock — he was just wrong.
In last night’s game against Brown University, Bryant University’s Ikenna Ndugba must’ve missed the tie-breaking point in the last 10 seconds because they were still down one point. Thinking that he just had to run out the clock, Ndugba decided to just dribble out the clock and, well, ouch.
They say you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, and it’s rarely been more true than here.
You'll see this everywhere tomorrow. Wait for the end... #0 on Bryant thinks they won and dribbles out the clock 😂⚰️ pic.twitter.com/8XPaYWvHow— Mike Goldfarb (@MikeGoldFool) November 29, 2016
In a rare case of OP delivering, a man who promised to eat his shirt on Reddit actually did it. What started out as an offhand comment about the Western Conference Finals turned into this video.
Although he only ate a little bit of a shirt because he doesn't want to die, as far as we're concerned it's the dedication that counts.
Paul Allen, all around rich guy and owner of the Portland Trail Blazers, was in attendance to see his team lose to the Golden State Warriors. It almost seemed like there was hope for the Blazers until Steph Curry made an effortless looking three point shot. Thankfully, a cameraman caught Paul Allen's expression for the internet to meme at that exact moment.
Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar were spotted together at an LA Clippers Basketball game watching intently. Their expressions unsurprisingly led to some jokes at their expense on the internet.
Jay-Z just wants to watch the game guys, can't you put your differences aside?
Eventually, though, they found some common ground.
During a Michigan-Ohio State basketball game, ESPN debuted a camera angle that was supposed to make people feel like they were sitting courtside. Unfortunately, it was not the experience they hoped for.
It turned out to be a weird angle that didn't account for the referees who ended up blocking out much of the screen anytime they walked by. People hated it so much, it's probably safe to say that ESPN will not be trying this again. via @AceAnbender, @eboland11, @BryMac, @Reflog18
These Twitter emoji are part of a promotion for that All-Star NBA game. They will be live until Monday morning. You can use them by Tweeting the All-Star's name with a hashtag.
Those following along with the All-Star game can also use these emojis to vote for the MVP by adding #KiaAllStarMVP along with their player of choice.
They also have some amusing personal emojis for the broadcasters as well, although since fan voting only makes up 25% of the decision for MVP it's unlikely the broadcasters will end up getting the award.
When a noise complaint was called about a group of kids playing basketball too loudly, this Gainesville, FL police officer showed up to set them straight. And by set them straight, we mean dunking on them while playing basketball.
Officer White handled the issue (or non-issue) like a pro and according to the Gainesville Police Department, he is trying to set up a full game.
