Getting from point A to B is pretty damn important, but sometimes we wonder if leaving the house is even worth it. Public transit is so often a cruel joke instead of a convenient service. These tweets and memes really hit the nail on the head.
The employees at a bus stop in Brazil came across three local dogs who appeared to be cold as they scavenged outside, looking for food and shelter. They allowed the dogs (Max, Pitoco and Zoinho) to come inside the station for the winter season in Brazil and even fashioned new beds for the trio using old tires. The story of the generous employees was posted by local passerby and animal lover, Fabiane Rosa. "These communal dogs have a much more dignified life than some who are victims of maltreatment and neglect, hidden behind the walls," Rosa said in her post. "This world is not the privilege of humans, God created animals to teach us to love without conditions"
People in Singapore are having a devil of a time deciding what to do about the new '666' bus line. 666 is considered by the superstitious to be the "number of the beast" in reference to Satan. Some of the Facebook comments on the Land Transport Authority announcement say using this number is insensitive. Others argue that it's perfectly reasonable.
The rest of the commenters just showed up to make jokes.

Hopefully the '666' bus driver will have a sense of humor, these jokes will probably only stop when Hell freezes over.
You know, life is difficult enough with out the ground itself opening up to swallow you.
Unfortunately, four bus riders faced that very fate in northern China this week. A sinkhole about 10-feet-deep caved in under a sidewalk, welcoming those poor people into its waiting maw.
As the Associated Press reported:
A provincial broadcaster said four people were injured in the Saturday incident in the provincial capital of Harbin.
The surveillance camera video shows pedestrians walking or standing on the sidewalk when it suddenly gave in.
Three people fell straight into the hole, while a woman clung to pipes just underneath the sidewalk. Another person standing on the edge fell sideways into the hole.
Luckily, they all survived. Unluckily, now they will live with the knowledge that the ground hungers for them and can open up again at any time.
Now, we all have to live with that knowledge.
A video was recently released of a man on a Seattle metro bus fighting back against a gunman who was robbing everyone of their cell phones. Immersed in his own phone, it wasn't until the gunman flashed the weapon in his face that he jumped into action, taking the gun from his hands and tackling him to the floor.
