Today, Marvel gives us our first look at the one-of-a-kind, larger-than-life Captain America statue that they made in partnership with Comicave Studios, which goes on display at the Marvel Booth at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2016, July 20th.
After Comic Con, the statue sets forth for Steve Rogers' hometown of Brooklyn, New York where it will stay in Prospect Park for a couple weeks.
The statue will be inscribed with the words ‘I’m just a kid from Brooklyn’, a line of dialogue from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Captain America, Marvel just announced plans to unveil an enormous bronze statue of Captain America at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Cheers, Cap'n.

Indeed, from the creative team of writer Nick Spencer and artist Jesus Saiz, we learn in Captain America: Steve Rogers #2 that Steve's 'memories of indoctrination' were implanted by Kobic, the sentient cube that became a girl. And the buck don't stop there...it turns out Kobic had been under the influence of Red Skull for months.
Apparently, a congratulations is all you need to do to win the loyalty of Deadpool. It all started when Chris Evans(Captain America) sent a Tweet to Ryan Reynolds and ended with some hurt feelings from Ironman/Robert Downey Jr.
But Deadpool can be fickle...
In the end, he chose the only side worth choosing. #TeamHelloKitty will surely come out on top in Captain America: Civil War.
