This Dolphin Turned a Jellyfish Into a Beanbag

These gents were enjoying a nice day on the water when they saw a sight that they and most everyone will never see again. A dolphin entered the bay near these Danish sailors, and they watched and followed as it literally threw and caught the jellyfish in the air. At one point it even lost the living beanbag, but soon found it and continued on with its game. Pretty sure PETA will file a complaint against the dolphin for animal cruelty, but it's unlikely to get very far between the judge's guffaws.

Check out the full story of this juggling dolphin, and find out exactly the Danes had to say about the whole experience.

For the first time ever, scientists have created an image of what echolocation looks like to a dolphin. Using a tool called a Cymascope, the scientists recorded the vibrations bouncing back from the dolphin's echolocation sounds and created two-dimensional images which they compiled into a 3D image with a computer.

This blobby man is what they got from a human underwater. Actually the image on the left below is what they got.

The blob-man is an enhanced image of the original data collected. Good thing dolphins can open their eyes underwater.

In a story that can be adapted for another Flipper sequel or reboot, rescuers are trying to save a dolphin that's stranded in wetlands along the California coast. It's difficult to tell whether the dolphin just doesn't know how to get back to the open waters of the ocean, or if it's trying get a plum role in an episode of How I Met Your Mother.
