Get out your flower crowns, ladies, it's that time of year! That's right, Coachella just released their festival lineup for 2019. It's a hefty one, featuring Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala as headliners. While a weekend in the desert sounds fun (and sold out) we might be enjoying these parodies from Twitter and Instagram a little more than an army of hipsters on MDMA.
Lady Gaga's newest song hopes to bring attention to the assault that one in five young women will face in college this year.
She made "Til It Happens to You" for the documentary The Hunting Ground about ** on college campuses. A portion of proceeds from the song's sales will be donated to organizations founded to help survivors.
It's a rough watch, but one that mimics the reality of sexual violence on college campuses across the country.
We hope u feel our love&solidarity through the song & perhaps find some peace in knowing u r not alone through this film #TilItHappensToYou— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) September 18, 2015
Anthony Marinos is on a mission to help his dad Paul achieve his dream:
My father loves Lady Gaga and Madonna, and he wants nothing more than for them to perform on stage together for a good cause. He also believes that he's not the only one.
Yeah, we'll totally sign Paul's Change.org petition -- he's only 999,934 supporters from his goal. His plea if so hilariously legit.
Last week a misleading and quite unflattering pic of Lady Gaga had critics calling her "meaty" and accusing her of "piling on the pounds."
So Gaga responded today by launching a new section of her website, Body Revolution, where she posted pics of herself in bra and underwear and brazenly captioned them with a confession: "Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15."
Then she went a step further: "Hey Guys its Gaga… Now that the body revolution has begun, be brave and post a photo of you that celebrates your triumph over insecurities."
In the hours since Gaga issued the challenge to her fans, they've flooded her site with stories and pics.
Is it a shameless publicity stunt? Who cares?
Well played, Gaga.
Lady Gaga guest stars in the season finale of the The Simpsons, and though she's toured the world, the superstar admits that joining Matt Groening and the cast for recording was quite the tough gig:
I think I was more nervous than I've ever been, because I have so much respect for them.
"Lisa Goes Gaga" airs Sunday.
