Gotta love weddings. Nothing says everlasting love like photoshopping yourself and your betrothed as centaurs. Y'know, for love. If not a half horse body, how about a genie? Maybe instead of photoshop, you'd like to throw some chickens in the air? We think these folks are onto something, and we'd like to see more people treat their weddings with more absurdity.
When you put cameras out overnight, you shouldn’t be surprised by what turns up — even if you catch Santa Claus on film.
At least that’s what police in Gardner, Kansas found, according to The Daily Mail.
They set up some motion-activated camera to catch mountain lions at night and ended up with photos of Bigfoot, Santa Claus, the Abominable Snowman, and more. While it’s not confirmed as to whether or not Gardner is a hotbed of paranormal activity, the police there did have a good sense of humor about the pictures.
“We would like to sincerely thank the persons responsible as it made our day when we pulled up what we expected to be hundreds of pictures of coyotes, foxes and raccoons,” Gardner Police Department wrote on Facebook.
“Thank you to the citizens who noticed the cameras. Your effort and sense of humor is greatly appreciated as it made our day.”
Check out what else the police uncovered:
In what can only be described as an attempt to make the rest of us feel terrible about ourselves, this Russian couple had an actual, real-life bear in their wedding photos. Before you ask: Yes, the bear is wearing a little bow-tie, and no, we're not happy about it.
The couple, who clearly thinks they're better than all of us, posed gazing into each other' eyes while holding a bear's paw, acting as if this is how normal humans get married. Message received: Our wedding's are boring.
Yalonda and Kayla Solseng are true princesses in love.
They captured their love, Disney-style, in a princess-themed engagement shoot in Glyndon, Minnesota, showing their love for the TV show "Once Upon A Time."
They started dating two-and-half years ago, and happily got hitched on September 3rd.They hope their story inspires other couples to create their own fairy tales, no matter the sexual preference.
"Gay marriage has been legalized in the U.S. for over a year and we hardly have gay or lesbian characters in children's movies ― let alone them being main characters," Yalonda said. "Kids want to be the characters they grow up with but when none of the characters represent you, then you feel alone. I want our photos to be shown to kids and families as a way of saying it's okay to be who you are. It's okay to be with the person you love."

...we still miss Prince and Bowie though.
Dressed in her wedding gown, celebrating with family, a call of distress pulls a heroic bride into action.
A 25-year-old newly married woman was taking her wedding photos on a beach when a drowning man was pulled from the ocean.
About 100 feet away, Guo Yuanyuan, who was a cardiac nurse at a local hospital, happened to be shooting her wedding photographs on the same beach.
Without thinking, she jumped off a three foot ledge and rushed to the scene while still wearing her wedding gown.
She then proceeded to perform CPR on the man as well as giving him mouth to mouth resuscitation for over 20 minutes.
In the process of saving the man, Guo had ruined her wedding dress, spoilt her make-up and broke her nails.
Very sadly, she was not able to save the man's life.
When paramedics arrived on the scene, they declared the man dead and said the cause was a heart attack.
The Daily Mail quotes Guo about the event:
"At that time, I only remember that I was a nurse. My career's responsibilities are higher than that of a bride."
Well after weeks of speculation, the mystery seems to have finally been solved: Kim Jong Un has been spotted. Alive!
And now here he is in a recent photo spread, back at work, touring a creepy orphanage, devoid of any children.
New images of the Great Leader, released by North Korea's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), show him at the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage wandering around inflatable swans while looking confused and happily inspecting a Hello Kitty tea sets, pink bunk beds and ball pits.
Looks like everything is back to normal in North Korea. Now if we can just find those missing children...
