Animals are a gift and blessing for humankind. From funny pets, to wild animal bloopers, they offer an endless amount of laughs, often unintentionally at their expense. But with nearly countless hours of material to sift through to find which ones are worth our notice, and which need to go the way of the dodo, you wonder what some of the best ones are. So for your viewing pleasure and hilarity, we have collected some of the best animal gifs around to satisfy your cravings.
Picture this: you're walking down the aisle in an airplane and when you find your seat, there's a turkey sitting next to it. Or a pig. Or a monkey. It sounds like a comedy routine, but it isn't. In the past few years, there has been an unprecedented rise in people having 'emotional support animals', particularly when traveling on airplanes. While any step towards improving mental health is applauded, there have been many incidents involving emotional support animals on airplanes that really don't belong there. We can't blame these untrained animals for acting the way animals act, but we can question the laws that allow them on board. With new regulations from the US Department of Transport, things are about to change. We discuss these changes below, and whether they are for the better or the worse.
I don’t know art, but I know what I like, and I like this painting pig.
Freed from a life of factory farming, Pigcasso is using her paint brush to express an abstract message of animal liberation. Pigcasso resides on Farm Sanctuary SA, a South African branch of the animal rescue, where she enjoys the finer things: Eating, sleeping, and painting.
Easily better than anything my hands have ever put to canvas, Pigcasso’s works are colorful, bizarre, and a real joy to watch being made. This is almost as fun as that skateboarding dog, Spuds Mackenzie. Almost.
It was only a few weeks ago when we learned about the break up between Kermit the Frog and Ms. Piggy.
It turns out that split had been happening for quite some time and they only just recently made it public.
If this is news to you, then you'd better sit down as you read Ms. Piggy's announcement on Facebook. It's the same that Kermit circulated around Twitter.
Also, never forget that these are not real people and this is all shameless marketing for the upcoming Muppets tv show on ABC.
But there's no reason to be cynical, so play along if you'd like.
