iphone 8 rumors emerge to replace iphone 7

Ew, you're still using an iPhone 7? How quaint.

Despite being just eight weeks old, the iPhone 7 is already old hat, as rumors of the iPhone 8 have already begun to surface. A report from the Nikkei Asian Review says that tests at Foxconn, the infamous iPhone production plant, have started. After all, the iPhone 7 is really old and can barely even function anymore.

Let's breeze past the obvious new features of the iPhone 8. It will likely be the thinnest, lightest, and fastest iPhone ever, with the best camera ever put in an iPhone. Cool. Where's the good stuff?

"Hon Hai Precision Industry, better known as Foxconn Technology Group, is making wireless charging modules," says Nikkei. Finally, wireless charging, and to think, the iPhone 7 (remember that thing?) still uses a wire.

The addition of wireless charging should please iPhone 7 users. If you can recall about 60 days ago, Apple took a “courageous” step and removed headphone jacks from their phones, leaving just one port to charge the battery and listen to music. But who can even remember such things? It was so long ago.

One thing's for sure, these are all unconfirmed rumors, and we have no idea when the next iPhone will actually be released. In the meantime, you'll just have to stick it out with your decrepit iPhone 7. Who knows? Maybe 2017 will be the year we finally get the Transformer iPhone.

In a modern moment of fear/paranoia, people heard a loud noise at LAX and spread word all over social media that there was an "active shooter" running around the airport, but thankfully, there wasn't, and the noise was just "something loud" that is currently unexplained.

But as people read RUMORS all over social media that an active shooter was present, chaos, fear and panic erupted as folks ran from three different terminals to escape to safety:

Somewhere in all the chaos, a man dressed as Zorro and wielding a plastic sword, got arrested :

Remember, use social media responsibly. Rumors help no one, but can hurt a lot.

According to sources all over the internet, comedian Jon Lovitz got engaged to 27-year-old Jessica Lowndes over the Easter weekend. If you're not a fan of the TV show '90210', or moderately successful pop music then you might be asking... who?

If you saw the story you might have Googled her to find out after the serious love affair went viral. So then apparently the act, and this bizarre, pop-up video style music video were all worth it:

She's admitted the "early April Fools" joke on her Instagram so it looks like their "relationship" is over. Sorry, Jon Lovitz, time to go back to lurking in the shadows.

The Foo Fighters have had a fantastic year so far but nothing good lasts forever. The band is currently taking a break and rumors have started about a split. Have tensions between Dave Grohl and his drummer Taylor Hawkins risen so high that Grohl has decided to go solo? Finally, this official video has the answers you were looking for.

Maybe they just need some downtime to actually enjoy their success after a whirlwind tour and a surprise album release in 2015.

We assume the "break" is so drummer Taylor Hawkins can focus on his cover band Chevy Metal:

This rumor was started by the Drudge Report where the author of the review claims that "The new movie 'REVENANT' features a shocking scene of a wild bear raping Leo DiCaprio!"

This rumor got enough traction that Fox felt the need to shut it down, releasing this statement reported by Entertainment Weekly :

“As anyone who has seen the movie can attest, the bear in the film is a female who attacks Hugh Glass because she feels he might be threatening her cubs. There is clearly no rape scene with a bear.”

Here's a snippet of the scene in question with the mama bear in fight mode.

The gritty survival movie is expected to be extremely violent, but it also already has Oscar mentions buzzing around it so it seems like they aren't only going for shock value.

A man in India was lynched by a mob for eating beef

We live in a very intense world, people.

The India Express is reporting that a mob of Hindus, the majority religion in India, pulled a Muslim man out of his home Sept. 28. They proceeded to beat him to death.

The cause? They heard rumors that had eaten beef.

Six people were arrested in connection with the attack, around 45 km from Delhi, sparking protests that led to police firing, damage to vehicles and injuries to a 20-year-old welder who works for the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) facility in the area.

Police said they have sent samples of meat taken from Akhlaq's home "to the forensics department for examination". Akhlaq's daughter, Sajida, said the family had "mutton in the fridge" and not beef.

Since then the story has taken on a life of its own and the hashtag #Dadri trended on Twitter, sparking an intense debate about religious tolerance and the societal schisms in India.

The Washington Post provides some context to the crazy crime.

The attack on Monday night in the northern Indian city of Dadri has shocked the country, but it wasn't exactly a surprise. For the past six months, meat has been a matter of major debate in India.

Eighty percent of the country's of 1.3 billion inhabitants are Hindu — who avoid beef for religious reasons. Roughly 250 million Indians are not. That tally includes almost 25 million Christians and up to 140 million Muslims, like Akhlaq.

The issue has raged in India for years. Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power last May, however, incidents have increased, as they tend to do whenever a conservative government has been in power.

Step one: make a lot of awesome videos. Step two: Make sure everybody loves those videos. Step three: Make a mother freakin' movie.

The comedy trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone are developing an untitled movie with Universal Pictures, The Wrap reported. Schaffer and Taccone will co-direct the film, while Judd Apatow has signed on as a producer.

There's not much information about the plot of the comedy so far except that it's "set in the music world" and followed an earlier deal that The Lonely Island would create digital content for Fox.
