There's no doubt that The Matrix is one of the best films ever made. Released in 1999, visual effects of such high quality were virtually unseen before. But would The Matrix be as good if it's visual effects weren't as good? After watching Studio 188's low cost version of The Matrix, we can say, YES. Although an unfortunate and extremely tragic incident has marred the original title of this film, The Watch (previously Neighborhood Watch), has more in line with Tom Hanks' 1989 movie, The Burbs, inasmuch as it's about a bunch of nosy dudes (Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Richard Ayoade, and Jonah Hill) figuring out all the weirdness going on in their neighborhood. This trailer is Not Safe For Work, btw.
