Ghost Crabs Use Teeth In Their Stomachs To Growl

In science news this week: ghost crabs growl. Yep. Weird, right? Although they aren't the most formidable of creatures (although I'm sure many people would disagree with me there), ghost crabs have the bonus of having decent claws AND a (cute) growl. If I were 2 inches tall, I would be terrified.

No More Fillings: Scientists Discover A Way to Grow Back Tooth Enamel

I think we can all agree that going to the dentist is one of the most unpleasant experiences a human can undergo. Just thinking of the shrill whine of the dentist's drill is enough to make me cringe. Unfortunately, going to the dentist is something we all must do if we don't want to have disgusting teeth. However, there is good news: scientists have just figured out a way to grow back tooth enamel, meaning that you might never have to get another filling for those pesky cavities. Hooray!

Wisdom teeth are a girl's best friend?

California couple Lucas Unger and Carlee Leifkes think so. Unger used his very own wisdom tooth set into a ring for the couple's Halloween proposal.

The two love birds met at a music festival in Canada earlier this year.

"So incredibly excited to marry my best friend, the man who knows that his wisdom tooth means more to me than a diamond," Leifkes wrote on Facebook.

"We have never been the "traditional couple," why the heck start now?"

Indeed. No need to start now.

Apparently finding new and creative ways to pull out your child’s baby teeth is becoming a “thing.”

We’ve recently seen a dad do with his Chevy Camaro, a retired Olympian use his javelin and parrot yank one out of a boy’s mouth with its beak.

The latest stunt comes from Montana, were a boy named Calvin Stanley decided to use his bow & arrow to get the job done.

His loose tooth that was making it hard to eat, so he whipped out his recurve bow which he had been training himself to shoot.

“This is how we pull teeth in Montana!” his dad wrote on Facebook along with a video showing him firing an arrow that was tied to his tooth.

He had to try it three times before the thing finally came out, they said, and he initially lost the tooth in the grass.
