Chicago-based comedy group Octavarius presents a compilation of quotes that are unlikely to be said by Gandalf, Thorin and Bilbo Baggins in this short parody of the upcoming film "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey."
In celebrating the upcoming release of The Hobbit, Utah-based Balloon artist Jeremy Telford turned his family living room into an authentic hobbit hole using 2,600 hand-pumped balloons over three days in about 40 hours of work. If you're curious about the process, be sure to check out the behind-the-scenes video!
According to Empire, Colbert recently visited the Hobbit set in New Zealand:
I flew out and watched them shoot some scenes and went to some locations. I saw a 25-minute cut, and it was amazing. [Peter] Jackson knows I'm a big fan of the films.
Asked if he would be making a cameo, Colbert replied coyly: "Could be."
Starting November 1, New Zealand will be putting The Hobbit on its stamps and money. Ian McKellen is delighted by the concept: "To put Gandalf on these splendiferous coins is a wizard idea."
We see what you did there, Sir Ian. The coins are not only highly collectible, they're also legal tender. It's all about the Bagginses, baby.
