It looks like Spidermanwas onto something. Police in the US have started using mechanical lassos (but not made from spiderweb) in place of tasers, which caused 49 deaths in America last year. This could potentially be the end of tasers.
Keep your hands to yourself, especially if you’re dealing with Justin Bieber.
Heading to his show last night in Barcelona, Justin “Danger” Beiber was driving through a crowd of fans. He wished them well as drove through, allowing them a glimpse at his royal Biebness. But his trust was quickly taken advantage of. A crazed fan, probably drunk on the power one receives when they lock eyes with Bieber, broke the seal and reached into Bieber’s limo aka the Bieb-mobile aka the Bieber Express aka Derek the Limo. What’s Bieber to do? The only thing an international man of mystery can: Punch him in the face.
That’s right, Bieber gave the fan the old one-two salute right in the jaw, and the fan was left bloodied on the street as Bieber drove away. Put some ice on those knucks, Bieber. You live to fight another day.
Bieber's fans quickly came to his aide:
A Georgia judge sentenced Kayla Dixon to 40 years in prison after she pled guilty to shooting a man over his Playstation 4. WSB-TV in Atlanta reports that Dixon gave her confession to the crime as part of a plea deal.
The horrific incident occured when Dixon and her boyfriend attempted to steal the Playstation 4 after 28-year-old Daniel Zeitz posted a listing for the console on Craigslist. Zeitz resisted, and Dixon shot him.
“I would trade anything, almost anything, to bring Daniel back. But I know I can’t,” she said in a statement to press. “I know he had plans. I wish I could tell him I’m so, so sorry that this happened, but I can’t.”
Rose McGowan, an American actress released the following statement regarding her general disapproval of the X-Men: Apocalypse poster:
‘There is a major problem when the men and women at 20th Century Fox think casual violence against women is the way to market a film.'
She went on to wrap up her interview with Hollywood Reporter, regarding the matter, with:
"I’ll close with a text my friend sent, a conversation with his daughter. It follows: ‘My daughter and I were just having a deep discussion on the brutality of that hideous X-Men poster yesterday. Her words: 'Dad, why is that monster man committing violence against a woman?' This from a 9-year-old. If she can see it, why can’t Fox?"
The poster, as you can see from above depicts the villain Apocalypse essentially choking the living sh*t out of Mystique. McGowan's not the only one to step forward to express some outrage. The internet reactions are already running amok, check 'em out below. Because if you're like me, you probably had no idea who the heck Rose McGowan was..
Artist Illma Gore made a nude picture of Donald Trump to poke fun at the his campaign. She illustrated him with a tiny penis, befitting the size of his hands which were frequently the subject of political debates. Then it became this tattoo, which one tattoo artist even offered for free to anyone who was willing to get it. (We've spared you the horror by censoring it with a beautiful unicorn).
Gore says that she was found by a Trump supporter and punched in the face for this popular work of art. Along with the picture of her black eye, she added this caption to her Instagram post:
Today I was punched in the face by a man who got out of his car and yelled, "Trump 2016!" in Los Angeles, just days after I returned home from London just down the road from my house. Though I encourage passion, opinion and emotion, especially though art, I think violence is disgusting. To live in a place where Facebook has given my address to an anonymous third party makes me feel like I am homeless again. This type of violence makes creatives feel like we live in a world where our individual creative input isn't safe. I am sad that this is the state of our America right now. I am sad that Trump, and many of his supporters, don't find words enough to express their opinions - they need walls, waterboarding and punches. @realdonaldtrump Please stop glamorizing and perpetuating violence. Make America Decent Again! #makeamericadecentagain No, they have not been caught, and the men drove off laughing. A detailed police report has been filed.
17 year old Christopher Roupe is dead after a police officer shot and killed him, mistaking a Wiimote in his hand for a gun. The officer was attempting to serve a warrant to the boy's father, and claims Roupe pointed a gun at her when he answered the door. It turns out that gun was a Wiimote. The officer is currently on administrative leave, and Roupe's family has hired an attorney.
