Boohoo clothing company got completely shredded in the Facebook comments section over how this particular article of clothing fits. People got very illustrative and comedically critical on how this particular piece of cloth, might bring its own shortcomings...

We're not ones to play into stereotypes, but they're pretty hard to avoid. Especially on sites like Twitter. Even well-meaning observational tweets can come off as obnoxious political and gendered takes. Comedian Lane Moore started this meme with a tweet about how women put a ton of work into their appearance, while men are more likely to take the three-in-one body wash route. The tweet quickly took off, inspiring other funny Twitter folk to make their own versions. As you'll see below, the joke has kinda spiraled out of control.

A lot of the time we say that mothers know the struggles of stay-at-home parenting. Such as, chasing the kids around the house, changing them maybe 6 times a day because somehow they get dirty from the clean house (it's quit impressive really) cleaning all the destruction they have made (seriously how long has that apple been there?). Oh lets not forget the biggest struggle of them all... those awesome tantrums and fits! The struggle is real....but we sometimes forget it could be the fathers that have that honor. Or at least for a while. Many countries actually give fathers a paternity leave as well, which allow them to hep out and bond.

 So when Norwegian artist Ståle Gerhardsen, took his paternity leave, which made him a stay-at-home dad, it was all to our gain. The father of two has and still creates the most hilarious cartoons in which he depicts the joy and chaos of caring for his two kids.

If there was one meme we could completely get behind this year, it was respecting women. The meme is often used ironically, with the labels of "women" and "respect" placed in rather violent or aggressive situations. This doesn't bother us. It's a nice palate cleanser from the "begone thot" memes that have become so popular.

Local artist, Ollie Wolliff, has embraced spirit chalkboard signs as a way of chalking up sales at her friend's bar. We really liked the ones featuring animals.
