I wonder where the pot of gold is in this case? Wherever it is, these visuals make up for the lost windfall. These are some absolutely incredible images of various planes from all over the world creating incredible artwork in the sky. Though conspiracy theories abound regarding contrails, it seems they are simply guilty of providing us with some amazing photographic opportunities. Michael Marston is a Brisbane-based photographer who has been posting these images to his social media, to viral acclaim.
Blue Sharks are one of the most prolific shark species in the world. They are also one of the most widely spread, being found as far south as Chile, and as far north as Norway. Though they prefer cool waters, they are most often seen of the coasts of Wales, Japan, South Africa, and Canada. They are lifelong migratory, traveling great distances searching for food. They are known sometimes to even migrate as far as the distance between New England all the way to South Africa. Check out some interesting facts about the species.
These lying liar faces were called out for their shitty attempts to spread dishonesty into the world. The internet is already confusing enough without tons of people trying to further their own agendas by telling lies left and right. Thankfully there's a fair amount of truth-defending champions around, ready to reverse image search the crap out of any liars that are trying to weave their web of deceit.
If you're a social media user of any kind, by now you are well acquainted with the #10YearChallenge. The meme involves users posting contrasting photos from 2009 and 2019 to highlight how much they have changed. The meme has gone on to be used ironically, and now it's being used to create climate change awareness.
Instead of posting impressive glow-ups or dank memes, some users, politicians, and organizations have taken to Twitter and Facebook to highlight the rapid destruction of our environment. Emaciated polar bears and melted glaciers make our versions of the challenge seem more shallow and narcissistic than they already did. We encourage everyone to get involved in this movement and help protect the world for ourselves and future generations.
Amazing what a mere collection of water and ice and a few rocks can turn into. Saturn's rings are one of the most incredible sights in the night sky, and in space overall. Though their make up is unremarkable, since the 1970s when the Pioneer and Voyager spacecraft visited the system and gave us our first close-up look.
What's more amazing is that unlike many other celestial bodies in our universe, that we need to physically reach in order to get a clear picture of, Saturn is close enough that we can get images like those below.
Colonization of the moon isn't too far off: plans for permanent lunar bases are already in motion, and the equipment for cheaply transporting people to the moon is in it's first stages of conception. But once we get there, humans will have to live inside buildings (or whatever the moon-equivalent will be called). So, in consideration of this, astronomers on the ISS mixed cement to see what zero-gravity cement would turn out like.
Darby requested via email a free five-night stay for her and her boyfriend at a hotel in Ireland. Instead of paying the hotel, she would give the business "exposure" - the hotel owner was certainly having none of that and replied to her with a snarky email, which he has since published online. He even went on to ban all social media influencers from his places of business.
Do you think the hotel owner's response was fair or did it go too far? Let us know in the comments!
Life has its fair share of struggles, a few happy points, and a lot of dumb facepalm moments that we can't help but laugh at. These relatable memes reflect all three of these categories. It's important to realize that you're not alone, even when you might feel like it.
