Last year Youtuber Tom BetGeorge put on a lightshow much like this, but even more intense, with 100,000 lights. With the franchise very possibly peaking BetGeorge came back this season with a new show. Devito's mess of a maddening Christmas light show in 'Deck the Halls' would pale in comparison to this.

Give it up for BetGeorge; the force is strong with this one.

This might actually work if we can yank today's poorly aged Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) out his chain-smoking tent to star as Jigsaw in "The First Act."

Like the grown-up Culkin looks creepy enough without the proverbial sadistic clown face mask. Grantland writer, Jason Concepcion scrooged our last holiday season over when he drew back the curtains on a truth too dark and twisted for any 90's kid to stomach; Kevin McCallister, the blue-eyed, smirking, havoc-wreaking, kid-wonder with an overdeveloped appetite for lighting burglars on fire matures to become Jigsaw from the "Saw" series.

Perhaps most compelling of Concepcion's unfortunately well grounded theory, is his proposal that Jigsaw's inventions mirror what the young Kevin McCallister imagined as some sort of furnace monster in the original Home Alone. Just an arm's reach away from the furnace sits a clown mask that holds an uncanny resemblance to the Jigsaw mask. Uh, okay then.

Concepcion ended his original post after proposing this theory with a neck hair raising, "case closed."

Hide yo kids, hide wives, hide yo husbands, and definitely hide yo grandmas. The only way we could make this very real life story of a reindeer running amok through the tea-soaked streets of a temporarily improper Nottingham, is if Arnold Shwarzznegger reprised his role from Jingle All The Way, to catch the runaway reindeer.

Somebody must've slipped something in Bjorn the reindeer's eggnog Sunday, because he went buckwild.

"I was putting some Christmas cards up in the window and just saw it come charging down the street," local resident Gemma Green told the Nottingham Post. "Then I saw a group of people following it.

"It was quite strange. It's like the scene from Arthur Christmas where Santa loses his reindeer. I thought I was seeing things at first." Maybe she was, but heck if that's a way to spur some Christmas spirit.

Nothing quite compares to curling up by the computer screen to enjoy a digital yule log montage, except for Doug the Pug curled up by a yule log.

So sit back, pour yourself a tall and seasonal glass of eggnog, and take in your holiday season with the cutest fluffball around.

These Guys Have Taken a Funny Photo With Santa Every Year Since 2006

One day in 2006 these guys decided it would be funny to take a photo with Santa. This started a tradition and they started dressing up as a theme that fits each year. The best part about this is that it's clearly the same Santa. That's dedication.

The Hyatt's in Plantation, Florida have a history of turning their house and yard into a mini-Christmas light amusement park. Everyone loves these Christmas lights. Even lemurs... for some reason, show up to enjoy the spectacle. The anchor in this video insists that the lawsuit by the city against the Hyatts is based on bad blood between the family and the mayor of the town, who they say is an old friend. The truth is a little more complicated and so is the Hyatt's relationship with the city of Plantation.

Every day at least one hundred people come to see the house, on the weekend it can be up to one thousand. According to the Sun-Sentinel, for years while the Hyatt's put up a display people and cars have wandered through the street their house is on without much order and ignoring any regulations the city tried to enforce. The police chief, Howard Harrison, told the Sun-Sentinel, "For me this is a public safety concern, it really is. You can't have pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic functioning on the same strip of land. That is a disaster waiting to happen". That's when he decided to start closing the road down when the light show is on. The city has to pay officers to keep the road closed and enforce no parking areas near the home.

You can see a walk through of this fantastic light display from 2009 in this video.

A man in Fayette County, Pennsylvania is protesting the commercialization of Christmas by hanging Santa from his front porch, but this story isn't about him.

A local news station interviewed residents of Farmington about the man's sacrificial Santa, and a woman named Barbara Carpenter gave the reporter a piece of her mind:

"I thought it was great. People need to stop blowing smoke up their kids' ass. They need to be taught the truth from young on: life sucks, deal with it. It's all about the money, and these businesses getting the money. People don't care that they have to scrape. If I'm buying gifts, I'm making somebody else richer, I'm going further in the ditch."

Bless you, Barbara Carpenter. Apparently the protestor has taken his Santa down, saying that he didn't mean to offend anybody, but hopefully he hears that at least one neighbor had his back.

Caroline Macrory started a trend by leaving gifts on the doorstep of someone who needed them and running away. She called this the Doorstep Challenge and this act of kindness has really caught on.

Even a few local businesses have joined in.

Macrory's goal is bringing people together to make life a little easier. She told Mashable, "Basically the concept of the ‘doorstep challenge’ is to reach out to those in our community who might be struggling at this time of year for one reason or another and spread a little Christmas cheer."

For the 22nd year in a row, United Airlines is putting on a special "Fantasy Flights" program that flies ill children to the "North Pole" to meet Santa. This year, more than 5,000 children and their families get to go on a special plane ride to a makeshift North Pole to meet good ol' Saint Nick before his big night.

"The kids really bring home the Spirit of Christmas for me. When I look into their eyes as they're chatting with Santa, it's often difficult to keep the tears from rolling down my face,” says Customer Service Rep and Fantasy Flights Santa David Tomb. “Sometimes they share a very personal thought or a wish that gives me just a hint of what their lives are like, what they're going through and what they're feeling at Christmas time. I'm just grateful that I can bring a little bit of joy into their lives."

Ted got a lovely advent calendar from his grandma for Christmas but no one was home to pick it up. Unfortunately, when your Christmas cheer is held at the post office you need to bring some identification with you to retrieve it. This is a problem because Ted is a cat so, because the mail was addressed to Ted, his owner couldn't pick it up.

Although the post office was standoffish over the phone, the workers in person listened to reason.
