Company Demands to Speak to Deaf Woman on the Phone

If you thought dealing with a telecom company under normal circumstances was a hassle, you've gotta hand it to this phone representative who would only speak to the account holder no matter the reality of the situation. Sometimes company reps get too caught up in their own BS, like this company that tried selling printing supplies to a printing company.

Entitled Parent Demands Public Artist Make Art for Them

The world has its unfair share of entitled people with demanding boldness. In this case it's a parent who hit up an artist who makes art for the public, just so they could demand special treatment for their kid. It's unclear what kind of reasoning leads someone down the path of thinking this is a normal request, but wow.

Mad Lads Who Played By Their Own Rules

Be they a silver tongued devil, one such merry prankster, or perchance a chaotic force of shenaniganry, these mad lads don't give a dang. Does the world need more humorous chaos? Maybe? Though sometimes those on the receiving end of a mad lad's prankery might not feel the same way.

Most Obvious Things That Had To Be Explained To People

It's threads like these that lead us to believe that there are people in this world that really need an instruction manual to navigate their daily lives. Many of us have encountered one of these profoundly lost souls at one point or another in our lives. It's up to us to handle the cluelessness with patience and understanding.

Foods Being Eaten Improperly

Sometimes we discover things that we didn't realize we were passionate about. For example, there's a right and wrong way to eat a burrito, and no one is allowed to argue otherwise. Sure, there are people out there making cursed foods from lucifer's larder all the time, but to go as far as to eat basic stuff the wrong way? That's asking for a fight.

Dry Ice Loophole Makes Mockery of Robotics Competition

There's no solution more compelling than those lazy "it's not stupid if it works" moments, even if they're technically against the rules. A low budget or DIY solution might make a judge mad, but you can't say that your solution wasn't effective. For another story of a stroke of lazy genius, here's a guy who needed a permit to build a garage so he just bought a van.

Tumblr Thread: The Convenience of Repurposed Greeting Cards

As convenient as a greeting card can be, it's a shame they only make them for boiler-plate events like birthdays and holidays. Sometimes you need a greeting card that gets at a more specific issue, and you have to use your creativity to devise a low budget solution. With a flick of a pen, any card can be expertly repurposed.

"Not My Job" Moments from The World's Slackers

In this busy world of ours, it's easy for things to slip through the cracks. Maybe a pole gets installed wrong here, or some road signage gets misspelled there. Many of us would look at these and say "we better fix that" but another great many of us say "good enough." The resulting impressively unprofessional "Not My Job" moments are indeed good enough, but in a different kind of way.

Impressive and Dumb Low Budget DIY Solutions

Life hands us all sorts of technical challenges, and it's up to us to solve them with our own ingenuity. Sometimes that ingenuity leads us to using a defunct school bus as a bridge, and other times it leads us to gluing a fan to the ceiling. A lot of these low budget fixes and DIY solutions are bad, unsafe and extremely unadvisable, so take that with a heaping pile of salt.

Puns for the Mined, Bawdy and Sole

There are those of us who love puns, and those of us who would like to take every pun-maker on the planet and shoot them out of a cannon into a brick wall. Many of us fall somewhere in between. Spelling Fails That Mangled Words Up Nice

You can't sit down and make everyone spell the way you'd like them to, so you're just kind of left with seeing the mistakes where they arise and laughing about them when you can. Who knows what the cause is for all of these spelling fails. It could be public schools, sheer ignorance, aggressive autocorrect or a combination of all three.

Cringey Guy Tries Correcting Grandma on Her Japanese

It would be really interesting to have this much undeserved confidence. Who in their right mind thinks they have a better understanding of a language than an grandma who's been speaking it for her entire life? And on top of that, he goes in and tries to "correct" them. It sounds like a recipe for an extremely awkward relationship. Here are some more entitled people and their demanding boldness, as well as some facepalm moments of mystifying dumbness.
