Anyone who's been single in the last decade probably understands just how bleak Tinder can be. Some people can be straight up awful but 90% of Tinder exchanges are generally just boring. Once in a while, thanks to subreddits like r/tinder, we get to witness those strange and awkward conversations between star-crossed millennials that make for pretty entertaining content. It's especially fun to see when people don't take themselves too seriously with their one-liners or their profile bios. We've picked out some pretty amusing Tinder moments for your enjoyment, and there's more where that came from.

There's something just plain old spooky about discovering a hidden staircase or suspect deadbolt that someone at some point in history went out of their way to hide from everyone. In this case, we're encouraged by the fact that those scratch marks apparently indicate this was likely some tomfoolery. The English language has some confusing peculiarities to it that result in English struggles, but heck, most languages have some phonetic and semantic weirdness winding through them. Someone on AskReddit got a thread going about truck drivers' creepiest experiences from their time out on the road. Turns out if you spend enough time out on the road, you're bound to encounter some especially spooky phenomenon. 

Be they a silver tongued devil, one such merry prankster, or perchance a chaotic force of shenaniganry, these mad lads don't give a dang. Does the world need more humorous chaos? Maybe? Though sometimes those on the receiving end of a mad lad's prankery might not feel the same way.

We tend to overlook the power of trees. Most of the time they just stand there, not bothering anyone. But given enough time, a hungry tree can envelope tons of stuff. Trees will munch on mailboxes. old toys, signs, and just about anything they can get their limbs on.

Sometimes we discover things that we didn't realize we were passionate about. For example, there's a right and wrong way to eat a burrito, and no one is allowed to argue otherwise. Sure, there are people out there making cursed foods from lucifer's larder all the time, but to go as far as to eat basic stuff the wrong way? That's asking for a fight.

The rule of thumb seems to be here that if you have to ask, it's probably illegal.

Our perception of time can be seriously altered by what's going on, especially if we're under incredible stress, experiencing uncertainty, or microwaving a burrito in a completely quiet house. Time and space can also change based on where you live, as evidenced by this Tumblr thread on cultures colliding over time and space.

Someone on AskReddit got a thread going about the strangest encounters that pizza delivery drivers have ever had. At the very least these experiences that pizza delivery drivers are subjected to, should serve as a solid reminder to tip those delivery drivers extra. They have to deal with some genuine madness. People will try to pay for those pizzas with just about anything. 

You're allowed to wear any kind of shirt you want, and everyone else is allowed to look at it and say that you're trying too hard. Across every level of society, there's someone who wants to wear extremely threatening shirts, and what they are about doesn't even really matter. Sure, a lot of them are basic "I am a living weapon" kind of stuff, but interestingly enough, people also share the same defensive views about being in a bowling club, owning a horse, self-identifying as an asshole or being afraid of their wife. Sometimes it just seems like a challenge to see how many fonts can fit on the same shirt.
