Greenheart Games has come up with a clever, refreshing way to discourage its patrons from pirating video games. Minutes after releasing their latest title Game Dev Tycoon last Sunday, the developers intentionally leaked a free "cracked" version of the game on a torrent site, and with the help of a few seeding friends, more than 3,104 users, or nearly 94% of all players, had downloaded the illegal copy within the first day. What none of them had realized is that the "cracked" version was designed for failure: after a few hours of gameplay, the player's virtual game development company's titles would become victims of piracy themselves, causing them to slowly go bankrupt.

It may sound like a bad joke from a family comedy film, but this actually happened: Michael Doyle, a 19-year-old who suffers from Tourette's syndrome, was prevented from boarding a plane for involuntarily ticking the word "bomb." According to Doyle, he was waiting to board his flight to Puerto Rico when he suddenly found himself repeating the "B word" while having a panic episode over the recent terrorist bombings in Boston, Massachusetts. In responding to the news, Jet Blue released a statement explaining that Doyle had been deemed a "safety concern" by the plane's commanding pilot and the airline offered him a free round-trip ticket to make up for the embarrassing fiasco.

On an interesting side note, Nash later credited a DVD copy of the film Angels in the Outfield she had been carrying with her for saving the day.

Collins' disclosure was largely met by encouragements and messages of support from dozens of other athletes as well as his twin brother Jarron.
